Although it might look like paint splashed on a canvas, this Painting is very important to me. Created in a fleeting moment, simply using up old tubes of paint, I instantly realised, and appreciated the paint itself. The thick, rich spontaneous brushstrokes are a work of art in themselves, and could never be re-created. More like a scuplture, than a painting, this small piece set me off in a new direction, letting the medium lead the way…going with the flow.
